November 25th Update Launch

updates are live!

Hello there everyone! We are launching several updates to our various add-ons for DCS: World, thanks to your continued interest and support. Today we’ll cover a few things in this blog post, let’s get into it!

Summarized Changelog

You’ll find these changes and more in this new update:

  • F/A-18C Hornet - Revisited most external sounds while in flight, creating a more realistic and seamless experience. These changes and refinements will elevate your Hornet flying experience!

  • F-16C Viper - Improved the overall flyby experience of the aircraft by swapping a few samples out, making it less repetitive and more realistic. Also included some minor interior adjustments as well.

  • Spitfire - The Spitfire update is one of the most extensive; we went back to the drawing board on this aircraft shortly after release. We have fully reworked the interior and exterior sounds, ranging from close-ups and flybys to inside the aircraft; almost everything has been changed to make this one of the most realistic and true-to-life sounding Spitfires. Th

  • CORE - The ”CORE” mod update includes many changes across various aircraft, such as the FC3 aircraft (SU series, F-15C, A-10C II, and more) and some adjustments to the Wind noises to make them less intrusive. The M2000C and AV8 Harrier will receive more updates in the future, as the file structure has been changed, and we are still working on polishing these two specific aircraft.

  • Mustang - The Mustang features minor adjustments and refinements to the exterior sounds, mainly enhancing the blending between the various engine sounds.

The Super Hornet and Tomcat sound mod received no updates in this release.

Cinematic Trailer

Thanks to GenericDCS for creating our cinematic trailer for today’s launch! All of the sound effects in the trailer were recorded in-game! The future of our DCS: World add-ons

Echo 19 is expanding, and we're seeing a surge in demand from flight simulation developers for our sound design expertise. As a result, we're dedicating most of our efforts to delivering top-notch audio experiences across several projects. Our project partners are at the forefront of our priorities; however, we are still committed to our DCS: World add-ons and our dedicated community. We enjoy developing and rolling out new updates and will keep supporting the DCS: World add-ons for the foreseeable future. Please note that updates may roll out more gradually as we balance our growing portfolio.

One last thing.

THANK YOU to all of you who have supported us, and continue to support our work from our humble beginnings. We look forward to serving the greater flight simulation community with dedication and passion for providing authentic simulation experiences, and there’s so much more to come. We sincerely hope you enjoy these updates.

Until next time!

Fly safe.

DCS / Community Updates Postponed

Hello everyone,

Just as I was uploading the teaser video that was released yesterday, I was made aware of a rapidly declining situation with one of my close family members. Here at Echo One Nine, we are a passionate group of aviators and sound enthusiasts alike - but it is my goal to operate a company that is not above setting everything aside for loved ones in a time of need. In this case, my family needs my support and presence during this difficult time.

With how many moving pieces are involved in the updates to our free addons and all of the other exciting things that are planned for our community, I have had to make the difficult decision to postpone today’s planned community update launch. As hard as this is, it is also my goal to operate a company that values excellence. You know Echo 19 for not just the great audio experiences we craft, but also in the exciting way we launch and announce our products.

I want to make sure we are putting our 110% into everything we do, whether it is for you, our loyal group of addon supporters, or our project partners.

Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this time. Thank you so much for your patience, unwavering support and encouragement over the past few years as we've grown as a business.

There are big things on the horizon, and even though life sometimes has other plans, we are excited for the future and can't wait to take you with us.

It's been a while...

Howdy all! It's been a while... it's time for some change!

First off, there are a lot of new people here!

So for those that don't know who we are and what we do; E19 is more than just a sound mod group, E19 (or Echo One Nine) is an audio production company built to aid developers (1st and 3rd party) with their integration of immersive soundscapes within flight simulators and beyond! The mods for DCS were designed to give us a creative outlet, to build our brand, and most importantly - to establish a community of aviation and audio enthusiasts alike. We've been successful in both avenues, and I am extremely thankful for every single one of you who have downloaded our mods, joined our Discord, donated to our vision, and are an active part of our community. Some of you may have noticed that the website has undergone some changes. I've posted a new section that allows our fans to immediately see what we're working on, regardless of Discord or Patreon status, under the "Products" page. There have been several refinements to the site, with more on the way as I go over the next set of changes!

DCS Updates

DCS Updates! The following mods are receiving updates next week, and a full-changelog will be made available, but here are some highlights to look forward to:

  • F-16: Received multiple adjustments and updates including some more realistic/less repetitious flyby sounds, a new distant afterburner mix, and more...

  • F-18: Received some fixes involving MP issues/new switch (cockpit) audio recorded from an active duty CF-18! Along with a few other small adjustments.

  • CORE: This next version of CORE will contain an array of refinements. Additions/fixes includes things like FC3 aircraft, new wind sounds that are less intrusive for airshow enthusiasts/more realistically mixed, enhancements to F-15C audio specifically as well as the A-10A/C. Along with several other enhancements and refinements to various other aircraft. We plan to add more aircraft to this mod as time allows!

  • Spitfire: The Spitfire's redux has finally been finalized and will be released with the rest of the above adjustments! The spitfire's audio is as real as it has ever been in this next version; from the cockpit to the flybys, this next version has been meticulously re-done for the most die-hard Spitfire fans.

These updates continue to refine our work to be even better, thanks to your feedback and the help of our amazing test pilot crew! @Macca, @JustDuff and @Scooby specifically, provided me with some incredible help the past few months. The above updates will be available next weekend, starting Friday the 22nd, at 10AM EST. I may not be able to get to making a full-release video for all this, staying very busy! That said; I did create a short teaser video with a few highlights.

Other News!

In addition; we will also be launching our brand new store platform! We will be officially retiring the Gumroad site and moving to a more professional platform as we expand our services. More on that next week just shy of release! I am very excited for the surprises in store for you all with the new platform.

New Friends!

In addition to the progress made on all of the DCS mods, there's been a lot of work done with our 3rd party friends including our newest friends at Parallel 42 (aka //42). I will be sharing more about the work we've been doing with //42 this coming week as we wrap up their newest project! I am beyond excited for you all to see and hear what E19 and //42 have been working on. A lot more continues behind the scenes with other projects we are excited to share more about in the future, for now though, that's it!

A huge thank you to you all, for supporting us and continuing to advocate for authentic audio experiences. Keep sharing our work and interacting with us across all our social channels.

See you all soon! Fly safe

F/A-18 Super Hornet Release + Other News!

Hello there everyone and happy Saturday! Here is your Saturday update!

🚨 New Release! 🚨 F/A-18 "Super Hornet" Audio Enhancement 🦏

Over the past several weeks, I've been very hard at work preparing the first official sound modification release for 2023! In collaboration with Chiller Juice Studios, I am excited to announce that the F/A-18 Super Hornet audio package is now officially available for download! You can download this via our website/gumroad just like the rest of our add-ons. This is to eliminate any possible confusion, and will help us keep the audio side of things up to date a lot easier!

The Super Hornet features external audio that was 100% sourced by Echo 19! Traditionally, we partner with well-known community creators, and industry-leading audio effects design groups, to either obtain or purchase commercial licenses for the audio we need. With the Super Hornet, all of the exterior audio was recorded, edited, and designed by Echo 19 directly. 😎 Go check out the CJS Super Hornet mod, obviously! Here is a forum link: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/316971-cjs-super-hornet-community-mod-v20-official-thread/

General Updates

We're also releasing updates to the Spitfire and Mustang as well, to address some of the feedback we've received!

🔥Spitfire: We have made some significant financial investments into this aircraft which will completely transform this add-on. The initial release was good and received positive feedback, but we can do better... Please give us some more time with it, I promise it will be worth the wait! The initial release version will remain up for download while we go back to the drawing board on some aspects.

🐎Mustang: Slight improvements to the flyby and some other smaller adjustments to the engine audio!

What's Next?

We have a lot of exciting things planned for 2023, and some others that are still being worked out behind the scenes. Thank YOU for your continued support and for sharing what we do with friends/colleagues. Stay tuned for even MORE from us in the future. We are looking for more clients to help create audio content for, know someone? Send them our way!

Chiller Juice Studios + Echo 19 Audio!

We are excited to share a collaboration effort between Chiller Juice Studios and Echo 19 Audio!

Very soon the CJS team will be releasing their next update to their E/F “Super Hornet” mod for DCS, and alongside, we were asked to update the legacy audio pack for a more true-to-life audio experience for the E and F models. We are aiming to release both the CJS Super Hornet update, as well as the audio package, within the next week or two - if all goes well!

We are also releasing new Spitfire and P-51 updates with the Super Hornet audio as well, once that becomes available - so stay tuned!

Lots to look forward to in 2023, and we’re just getting started…

Happy New Year!

It may not be 2023 yet "officially" here in the USA, but we do want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! 😄🥳 🎉 I am so humbled and proud of the way 2022 turned out, albeit challenging, it was definitely a year of opportunity and growth - both myself, personally, and as a company.

As we push into 2023 I'd just like to thank all of our amazing fans and supporters, both here on Discord and abroad. Without you guys, we wouldn't be here. Here's a recap of what we were able to accomplish in 2022...

2022:

  • Released CORE version 1.5, bringing a lot of improvements, refinements, and additions.

  • Grew just over 600 members on Discord!

  • 800 new Subscribers on our YouTube Channel!

  • Started and have now reached just over 500 followers on Instagram (great work to @_dcs_world_photography_#8113!)

  • Created a Patreon to help gain more consistent financial support for operating costs and smashing the first goal quickly!)

  • Partnered with IDF Mods' F-16 Sufa to bring some unique audio to their Viper

  • Released an updated release of the F-14 audio (v1.8)

  • Released Version 2.5 of the F-16 in early summer

  • I had my firstborn son! He is now almost 7 months old and he's growing up so fast...

  • Recorded audio at TWO amazing airshows, getting insanely awesome audio recorded on the F-16, F/A-18C, Super Hornets, F-35C, F-35A, A-10, and more...

  • Released a brand new, from scratch, F/A-18C Hornet audio experience

  • Our first official contract! Crosstail Studios hires E19 to complete audio on their A-1H Module for DCS

  • Our second contract was announced with Terasynth / Training and War Simulation- marking an exciting opportunity to enter the DoD and simulation/gaming world outside of DCS and MSFS.

  • Released the P-51, thanks to the help of, and Spitfire audio enhancements for DCS

  • Released several improvements to CORE, Hornet and Viper audio alongside the P-51 and Spitfire

And so, so much more that went on behind the scenes - and things we aren't allowed to share publicly.

2023 is going to be amazing, and I cannot wait to share what we're going to be working on. For now, we celebrate the great and challenging year that was 2022 - and within the coming weeks, as our team comes back from break, we will be sharing our plans with you all for the coming year. 🔊

Thank you all, so much, again for your continued support! If you like what we do, share with your friends and spread the word. Don't forget to check out the P-51 and Spitfire audio, and also our other updates that were released over Christmas weekend.

Have an amazing year and we will see you all again real, real soon!

Christmas Eve Update (12/24/2022)

At long last we are finally ready to share our recent work with you all! See below for all the details as to what’s new!

Mustang and Spitfire!

Introducing the P-51 and Spitfire audio enhancement packs! Much like the other sound mods for DCS, these two are sure to make you smile. The default sounds on these two birds were already great, but we wanted to give them the Echo 19 touch and we are very pleased with how the initial versions have turned out!

The P-51D started out as an experiment, that quickly turned into a passion project for our team. An incredible shoutout to our newest audio engineer, Don (Skullz) for his hard work and long nights getting this bird’s audio ready for release! I would also love to recognize Macca on our Test Pilot team for the amazing and thorough feedback. Last, but not least, I’d like to think Magic Zach (Red Magic) for his contributions as well, and for providing the amazing liveries used in the video and screenshots for the P-51! We sincerey hope you enjoy it.

Here is the launch video that was created to celebrate today’s update and release launch!

Next we have the Spitfire! The Spitfire was also incredibly challenging, as they are much harder to find flying around in the U.S. Still, I did not let that stop me from doing the very best I could. Armed with the highest quality samples I could locate, I set out to create a richer, deeper sounding Spitfire experience. With the help of our Test Pilot crew, we’ve been able to accomplish that!

These two prop planes mark the first official releases that are prop-driven in DCS: World. We know they aren’t perfect, but they are both labors of love and we hope you all enjoy them just as much as we did creating the audio for them! Now is a great time to jump into these planes, as ED offers free trials - as well as a newly announced sale!

Viper, Hornet and CORE!

We are also excited to surprise you all with some smaller adjustment updates as well. We call these “Quality of Life” updates (pronounced QOL). Catch a glimpse of the changes made to the Hornet and Viper in today’s video!

It's been a while since I've mentioned our incredible @Patreon Supporter folks. I'd like to thank all of those that have helped donate or contribute through Patreon, donations via our website and even through Gumroad. Your financial support has helped keep us going amidst these tough times, and I am so incredibly grateful of the encouraging growth we've seen as a team and community over the past couple of years. If you'd like to be a part of E19's success story, consider joining our Patreon and I would be glad to answer any questions you may have for the team, or myself as an individual. If you're interested, please visit: https://www.patreon.com/echo19audio

Since it is Christmas Eve here in the U.S., I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you.

Thank you for your passion and amazing support!

Weekend Newsletter - 8/20/22

Hey @everyone and thank you so much for an incredible launch week for the F/A-18C Hornet Audio Expansion update. We have gotten a lot of amazing feedback, thanks for continuing to support what we do.

Hornet Update - Post Launch
With the launch of the Hornet, there were some items that we wanted to address since it's debut last week. You will find that a new patch was issued for the Hornet mod today, and can be downloadable through accessing your Gumroad account, or navigating back to your original email once you "purchased/obtained" it.

The current version is 1.0.5 and the patch notes are as follows:
- Updated Howl to reduce "flyby" effect bug in F2 (you can still hear it, but sounds more natural now).
- Tweaked various gains that were affecting carrier operations (unable to properly hear some effects while on the deck)
- Adjusted some other effects for better F3 flybys.

As a quick note: make sure you have this option enabled on PC. This will greatly enhance the overall mix and volume of your game! One individual said it was a game changer. Be sure to check it out to make sure you're taking full advantage of our audio. https://pureinfotech.com/normalize-sound-volume-windows-10/

New Staff! Say hello to two new incredible @Staff members! We are so thrilled that our team is growing as a result of the incredible opportunities we've had to share content with the DCS community.

First up is @Don (Skullz)! You may or may not know him from his incredible work on the highly acclaimed Huey sound mod a while back. I was inspired by his work, and was a foundation for what we did with the Huey audio in the CORE audio pack for DCS. He has a keen eye (and ear) for detail, thanks to his background in Law Enforcement and his service as a U.S. Marine. I am beyond excited for what Skullz will do with us, and even more excited to be working along side him as we continue inspiring the communities around us. His experience in DCS stretches much further than just the Huey sound mod he produced, but also reaches into X-Plane and other projects as well. Welcome aboard, Skullz!

Second is Logan (@dcs_world_photography)! Logan has been helping us behind the scenes with social media recently and we have decided to bring him on, officially, as our social media specialist! He's done an amazing job with his own Instagram account (go follow him!) but also taking great care to our account as well. I am super appreciative of what he's done so far, and am excited to see what the future has in store. You will start to see more regular posts, about what's going on - and what we do behind the scenes, across multiple platforms. Make sure you are following us! Welcome aboard man!

--

In other DCS: World Audio News:

P-51D Mustang Audio Skullz is taking over this project for me, as I move into and start focusing on some other unannounced projects behind the scenes! We will be working closely on this, however, the Mustang is his favorite warbird and I know that it is in good hands. I'm excited for what Skullz will do with the Mustang audio!

Spitfire and CORE Audio As work on the Hornet dies down for now, and the other primary fighters in a good position (audio wise), the rest of the team can start focusing on the Spitfire and bringing new updates to the CORE mod as well. We have a lot of fixes already completed for CORE, but will also be bringing in some new additions as well, to freshen things up. More on that at a later date! -- On the Horizon: There are so many things happening behind the scenes we aren't allowed to share yet, but I am beyond excited for the partnerships and opportunities that have come our way! As soon as we are able to share with you all, we will. From our entire team - thank you. Have a fun, and safe weekend! -Tyler

New Hornet Audio is Here!

Hello everyone and welcome to launch day for the F/A-18C Hornet Audio!  😄

We are so thrilled that we are finally ready to share this project with the general public. Below are some notes, other news! Let’s dive right in…

The Hornet Audio Expansion update for DCS is now officially LIVE and ready for you to download. I really hope you all enjoy the immense work that went into developing this audio from scratch - literally from the ground up. This update is more of a “re-launch” due to how much has changed. We’ve hit the reset button on our updates, so we are starting at Version 1 this year on the Hornet since it has gone under such extensive revision.Everything shy of button switches and tones were adjusted/changed/tweaked or completely redone. I’m not going to list everything that was changed, as it’s extensive, but just know that when you launch DCS into this new audio, you will immediately notice the difference.

Here at Echo One Niner, we pride ourselves on delivering the best experience possible to you - the end user. If there are any questions on either how we accomplished this result, equipment we used, or how you can get more involved in our cause - please feel free to reach out to me personally or post in the comments/appropriate discord channels!

A quick thanks to a few individuals: 🙏

I am super excited that we had the opportunity to showcase this to the public via the Virtual Summer Air Festival this year, as a first official look and demonstration! Huge thanks to Macca for helping make all of that happen.  Also, a huge thank you to DuFFMan (a CF-18 mechanic) who provided many amazing resources for us to use including first hand recordings of cockpit audio, canopy sounds, and so much more. Your help is beyond appreciated and you definitely left your fingerprint on this project!

MUSTANG 🐎

Progress is coming along nicely on the P-51D project, you may have seen a very brief look at the work done so far. We have a bit of a ways left to go until we are ready to show it off in full detail, but I am excited to share more once we have enough completed. Helix with Apex also created a gorgeous livery for us to use, check out some screenies!

SPITFIRE 🔥

Nothing new yet to share, I am limited on time and can only work on a couple of projects at once. Now that the Hornet is complete, we will be shifting efforts into the Mustang and Spitfire projects, as well as a couple of unannounced projects (more details coming soon!)

PATREON 🏅

We have gained a few great Patreon Supporters this month, who are helping us by allowing me to spend more time in the development of these mods. I am beyond grateful for the supporters we have so far - getting past the first goal was great, and now we look forward to reaching our second milestone!  I try to post behind the scenes content, as well as other cool features, to our Patreon community. I hope you might consider joining our little community on Patreon to help continue making these mods a reality.

HELP 🆘

We are also looking for some more help in creating audio, if you or anyone you know might be interested in helping us develop audio (not just mods, but for other projects), please let me know! I want to continue making mods, but it is hard for me to do alone and our other amazing developer (Smiley) has been very busy IRL.  Please reach out to me at this email if you are interested: info@echo19audio.com and be sure to include previous history in content creation, and any other background information that will help.  You may also reach me on Discord.  These positions are unpaid, for now, and are volunteer based until we are more established.

That’s it for today - thank you to everyone for making all of this possible!  See you all again soon.

Have fun, and fly safe! ✈️

Launch Notes

Quite a bit has changed between the Viper and Tomcat; here’s some revision notes!

Tomcat (F-14 A/B by Heatblur Simulations): Version 1.8

Lots of new sounds from flyby effects to tweaks and adjustments on many levels.

New rear, front, side flyby audio. Note that the rear flyby audio includes engine pitch information that was included to "simulate" results I wanted. In a future update, perhaps this can be removed and we can use the actual powerplant in-game to produce this whine. For now, this is what we got. Also has new afterburner close, mil power sample and distant afterburner audio.

Viper (F-16C Fighting Falcon by Eagle Dynamics): Version 2.5.5

  • The cockpit mix has been adjusted to provide a better experience to the player.

  • Revamped several internal features

  • New flyby effects have been added to increase overall external immersion of the aircraft.

  • Tweaked some configuration settings for external audio that will aid in audio immersion.

Known issues:

F11/F3 at higher speeds will produce a whining sound that is a result from RPM2. Currently there is no way around this other than reducing volume, which then removes other desirable effects. I will be taking this to ED to see if there is anything that can be done.

Credits / Special Thanks

A huge shoutout and big thank you to Foxtrot and dcs_world_photography for their hard work and help with the cinematic video the past couple of weeks! Also; thank you to our Test Pilot crew and partners for thoroughly vetting and testing the F-16/F-14 mods before their release.

This Week's News/Updates! Mod news, Patreon and More...

Today we have some exciting things to cover, it’s a bit of a lengthy update but please read through to the end. I appreciate it!

F/A-18C Hornet Audio: 🐝 this place is gonna bee buzzin’! Excuse the bee pun, but we are excited about our next Hornet version release! I recently had the opportunity to record about half a dozen low altitude passes from our nearby Hornet squadron. Our goal with this next iteration will be to better match the quality of samples used on the latest F-16 audio release. I have just finished sourcing the audio for this and we will be starting production on it very soon!

F-14 Tomcat: 🐈 We have released a release candidate client to our amazing @test pilot crew! The next iteration of the Tomcat will provide many welcome quality of life enhancements to both the exterior and interior audio. Tell us! What features, audio wise, would you like to see changed on this aircraft? Let us know in the #suggestions and feedback channel!

F-16: 🐍 At the request of the amazing IDF Projects team, we have created a quality of life update for the Viper audio overhaul as well. This is not as extensive as a usual update, however, I’m sure you all will love the changes!  We will be releasing this update alongside an upcoming release of the F-16I Sufa mod, which will feature some unique audio to the Pratt & Whitney power plant. Here’s a quick sneak peek at the latest developments of the F-16 audio overhaul, featuring the F-16I Sufa mod by IDF Projects!

Our YouTube has a new look!

The old “IntrepidGaming” branding is officially gone. From now on, all media on this channel will be branded as “Echo 19 Audio”. This is exciting as we look forward to creating more content in the future!

A personal thanks from Echo 19:

Thank you all so so much for your continued support, whether it be financially by donating, through Discord, YouTube, or by sharing with your friends and family. I am so grateful for the amount of people that have joined the Echo 19 cause and am very excited for what the future holds. Since moving to the Fort Worth area, I have been able to capture some amazing footage and audio. This area provides me the opportunity to constantly be immersed in military aviation, and couldn’t be happier!

Last but not least…

A lot of you may or may not know, but my wife and I are expecting our first born at the end of this month! We are so excited to hold him and see him face to face. With this, me and my wife have decided that she needs to be at home - raising our son. This means I’ll need to get a second job, and work part time in addition to my already full-time position in order to make ends meet. Having to get a second job would almost certainly eliminate the time that I would have available to create content and continue doing what I love here at E19.

That said; I had an idea. I don’t typically like asking people for help - but I need your help!

I have created a page that our most dedicated fans and supporters can contribute on a monthly basis. Since our work in DCS is purely voluntary, our mods on DCS have been and will remain free for everyone to use. However; the donations we have received have gone towards gear, software, website / file hosting costs and also forwarding some of that to our amazing staff. If we can get enough people on board, monthly, I’ll be able to stay at home with my wife instead of finding a second job - and treating E19 as my “second job” instead.

I know it’s a big ask, especially with the world we live in. I love creating content here, and am passionate about the work we do! I want to continue doing it, but I need your help.

If you can donate monthly, my wife and I would be so incredibly grateful and it would mean the world to us.

You guys are amazing, thank you again for your passion and dedication.

Sincerely,

-Tyler

CORE 1.5 Released, Viper Patch and Tomcat news!

Hey everyone!

With 2022 in full swing, we have some great news to share. Version 1.5 of CORE is officially available for download! Below is a full range of new audio, and fixes, in this update. Be sure to check it out and download the latest version from Gumroad! We are also releasing a small patch for the Viper audio production as well.

Here is a video highlighting most of the features available in V1.5 of CORE.

Stick around to the end for a glimpse at the new and improved (WIP) audio for the F-14 Tomcat! We are hoping to have the F-14 audio completed before spring, and even sooner if time allows. Stay tuned!

Thank you so much for all your support!

Development Report: Jan 29, 2022

With V1.5 of CORE officially released, we’ll start focusing more towards development of our next planned projects. The next primary goal is to complete the next update for the F-14 Audio Production - with a secondary goal of implementing new warbird audio into CORE. Like the P-51, BF-109 and others, while also continuing to make tweaks/adjustments where needed. These goals will continue through Q1/Q2 of 2022, you may see some small patches or updates in the meantime, before our next major content release.

Beyond that, we have also set goals to slowly introduce ourselves to the Microsoft Flight Simulator community. We’re planning on covering the Super Hornet for our first product launch, instead of a commuter plane, but is subject to change. This will be something to look forward to towards the end of the year, as we are learning a completely new file system and a new platform. If there are jets or even other aircraft you’d like to see us do sound packs for, in MSFS, please leave us a comment!

We also have several unannounced projects that have already been in the works for some time, and are excited to share news about them as they arrive.

Thank you to those that donate through PayPal/Gumroad, it has enabled us to invest in new equipment - to bring everyone bigger and better products!

That’s all for now, thanks for reading!

Happy New Year!!

We are so excited to share yet another year with you all. We have some very exciting things planned for this brand new year, which we will slowly announce as time goes on. I wanted to thank each and every one of you for the support, donations and feedback that we've gotten in 2021.

Things will only get better from here! Our focus has always been on "quality vs quantity" and we are committed to growing our abilities in audio engineering and sound design, beyond DCS: World and into other communities. 2021 was one hell of a ride, lets make 2022 an even better one!

Next DCS/E19 patch: we are getting back into the swing of things after the Holiday Season and New Years, expect a couple of patches to arrive late next week to address some of the compatibility issues. Thanks for the continued feedback!

Finally; the first video of 2022! This has been a joy to create. From the intro, to the exciting outro and everything in between. This is truly a love letter from myself, Jordan (AFK) and Stan. Jordan helped me create this amazing work of art, as he provided a lot of feedback as well as some amazing cinematic shots. This video took weeks of production, with some recordings dating back to this past summer - we hope you all enjoy! 2022 is going to be amazing, and we couldn't be more grateful for your support.

New Updates are Here!

Viper, Hornet and CORE Updates Are Here!

Thanks so much for all the support and feedback, and all the amazing donations!! We are already using some of that to invest in better recording gear, and software, to enhance and improve our workflows!

Below are the patch notes and summaries for today’s big update launch! These are not live until 1600z (10AM Central Time) - watch the amazing launch video LIVE with us, here: https://youtu.be/7wIvvYH56hI

Update Summary:

Viper – Major Revision 1 (Version 2.0)

My what a year it’s been. This was slated for release several months ago, but with a new job and getting married, priorities change. This was for the better in the end, as I was able to record some amazing quality samples for this new version – and it really put this revision where it needed to be.

From first showing version 2 several months ago, it is miles better than where it was originally. With this revision, you’ll immediately hear the difference on startup as both Internal and External sounds have been replaced and adjusted!  I could go on about the exact changelog, but I’m not doing that here. If you’re curious, head over to our website to check out the full list of changes.

Hornet – Major Revision 4 (Version 5.0)

Finally, after several requests and some amazing feedback, version 5 of the Hornet is HERE at last! The biggest changes between v4 and v5 are the new internal engine audio for this majestic beast.

We’ve spent over 6 months gathering feedback on this new version release, and we’re so happy to share this with the rest of you. On top of the internals, the external audio has also received some nice QOL updates.  Along with Viper, you can find the full revision notes on our website.

Core – Minor Patch 1 (Version 1.15)

Along with the Viper/Hornet updates, we are including a minor update (22MB) that fixes some issues with the media content not scaling properly, along with featuring some new/replaced audio that will better your DCS experience. Full release notes available for this is also on our website!  To download the patch only; click here: https://tinyurl.com/e19patch115 Otherwise, follow the below instructions

To access these updates, access your Gumroad account or email you received and click “Download” and it will take you to the most recent update! If you’ve yet to use Gumroad, you can do so by using this link: https://echo19audio.gumroad.com/
